From M62
Take M606 Bradford Link Road. At the end take the centre or RH lane signed RING ROAD EAST A6177. There are also Brown Tourist signs to SALTS MILL At the second roundabout turn Left on to the A650 following Brown Signs to Salts Mill. After 2 roundabouts keep to centre lanes following A650 Shipley and Salts Mill signs. Continue on this road for approx 2.5 miles. At the Tee junction (just over the railway bridge) turn right. Carry straight on through several sets of traffic lights following the brown Salts Mill signs. At the roundabout turn left, again follow the brown sign to SALTS MILL and 1853GALLERY. Keep straight forward on Salts Mill Road until you reach the car park on your right. The main entrance to the mill is at the opposite end from the car park. Once in the mill locate the diner on the second floor. Turn left in the diner and enter the shops.
From Skipton and Keighley
Follow the A629 and A650 to Saltaire roundabout. Take the A657 to Leeds. At the Traffic lights follow the signs to SALTS MILL and 1853 GALLERY .
From North and West Leeds
Use the Leeds Ring Road to Rodley. Take A657 to Shipley. At the Traffic lights in Shipley follow the brown signs to Salts Mill and the car park.
Car Parking
All our directions take you to the main car park (free) at the East end of the mill. A short walk along side of the mill takes you to the main entrance at the West end. There is limited on street parking on Victoria Road in the old village centre. There is also a small pay and display car park on Victoria road.
Parking for disabled
If you drive past the main car park and past the No Through Road signs there is a small private car park. There are few spaces here for the disabled, close to the arch under the mill. There are more spaces alongside the mill at the west end. You approach these from the Victoria Road entrance. This is just over the railway bridge. Enquire at the security office.
